Transitional fall outfits in the era of climate change means we can wear warmer weather clothing for a few months longer. This, of course, has always been the case in San Francisco with a summer that hits closer to September / October, allowing for deep colors and fun textures in lighter fabrics. Some items I have been eyeing lately -
Savette - a truly perfect bag: structured, suede, with a fun gold clasp. Top of my list
Burberry - we’re getting a bit closer with my hunt for satin jacquard pants. Though the waistband screams activewear more than I want it to, these are a gorgeous transitional pant in a fabulous print.
Toteme - I have loved the idea of a more true antique white jean that feels and wears more like a pant. These arrive this week and I look forward to testing them out!
Mulberry - love this draped sweater in Grinch green - I see this pairing just as well with antique white wide leg jeans as with a silk slip skirt.
Heirlome blouse and skirt - this look together is stunning, and the pieces are versatile and allow you to mix and match within your existing wardrobe. Heirlome is doing some really innovative things and should be watched.
Onitsuka - Madeline from Content Buffet recommends these as an alternative to summer sneakers. Though I was initially going for suede sneakers, these scratch the same itch while remaining more seasonally neutral.
Reformation - silk pants dress anything up, you all know at this point I swear by them.
Weekend Max Mara - VERY well-priced, beautifully textured.
Beaufille - I purchased this as a foil to my oversized beige Acne wool blend trench coat - a lighter, more classic silhouette.
Olivia Von Halle - not really a fall find so much as something I love in a pattern I adore by a brand I can’t get enough of
