Themes for pre spring

There is nothing like an imminent changing of season to whisk you off into a reverie, here’s what’s inspiring me this season:

Greek Goddess: Cotton Candy Silhouettes and Gold Jewelry

I’m not sure whether it’s Gladiator II, watching Mamma Mia for the first time (yeah whatever, I know), or a surge of Twitter guys who finally read “Meditations,” but I have been inspired by wispy fabrics, gold and gemstone collars, and deeply tanned leathers as we make our way into the warmer months. Also you should read Circe and Song of Achilles if you haven’t already.

Arcina Ori gauze blouse that is made of little more than clouds and sugar.

Chan Luu collar necklace for pairing with linen or silk.

Delicious Sandy Liang satin bow bag that genuinely made me gasp - I don’t love the “bows on everything” thing that was going on mid-2024 but this is iconic and very wearable.

Tory Burch upside down heels I’ve been seeing this upside down structure a lot and absolutely love the deep, almost burgundy brown.

Devon Windsor swimsuit bottom and top in a colorway and satin finish I can’t resist.

Antipodean windowpane shorts to throw on after a dip in the Aegean.

Vintage Hermes sandals for someone with teeny weenie little feets - please buy these on my behalf I would not be able to fit a single toe in these.

Put a Brooch on it!

Brooches! Cinch your sweater at the waist, loosely tie your cardigan, use it with a silk neck scarf. Just don’t call me late for dinner!

Barbara Katz with the perfect size and shape to pair with any outfit in almost any way.

Aspen Cowgirl

Ok fine I was WRONG about Aspen turns out it’s the happiest place on Earth. At least I know how to admit I’m wrong! But when we do Aspen we don’t do glitz, we do country.

Late Winter Blues Tropical Getaway

Selfish addition given a post-Korea trip to Sayulita, but I think perhaps we all lust for swimsuits and bright colors this time of year.
