Since we bought our aforementioned new home, we’re doing quite a bit less traveling this summer. And when I say quite a bit, I mean “home for only 10 days May-September” to “closer to 10 days OUT of the house from May-September.” It’s a wet, hot, American summer baby! We just can’t bear to leave this perfect place, and were given the perfect excuse to stay more grounded than usual with all of the house work we have.
I went ahead and made myself a bucket list (just like it’s 2008, baby!) but just because I’m not flying far and wide, doesn’t mean I have any intention of looking drab. With the beautiful Bay Area and beyond at my disposal, a few pre-planned trips that required very little planning on my end, and some really special events (hint: see below), I’m planning on having the best (and only!) local summer I’ve ever had.
